Character building principles are taught through Bible Stories.

Special emphasis is given to improving gross motor skills and fine motor skills alike. Preschoolers have a gym time built into their schedule where they work on gross motor skills, such as galloping and skipping.

A focus on letters for letter recognition as well as writing skills. Students will learn to write their names using proper form. These skills are taught through various learning styles such as: letter of the week, songs, books, crafts and hands-on play.

A combination of field trips, class discussions, books and "lab" experiences are used to teach children about their surrounding environment.

A variety of manipulative and written activities are used to educate students about number recognition, number values, counting, patterning and sequencing.

Capital Christian preschool provides a safe environment for students to develop self-regulation skills without the presence of a parent. Students are encouraged to learn to monitor and manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.

Students gain confidence by caring for their own needs in areas of dressing, hand-washing and using a backpack. Other important skills like taking turns, sharing and cooperating are worked on as well.
